Katie Noe
Proficiency Program Coordinator/Special Studies Assistant
Katie began her career at Cherney in 2006, shortly after graduating from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Katie’s experience began and knowledge base was gained as she worked as a technician in the laboratory. When she was ready for a new challenge, she was promoted to her current responsibilities. Katie coordinates and statistically analyzes all proficiency programs offered at Cherney and has successfully increased participation by 50%. Katie has worked to streamline the proficiency programs while making customer service driven improvements. She also works closely on project design, coordination and implementation, always keeping the customers’ needs and goals in the forefront. Katie has worked on projects ranging from shelf life and challenge studies to minimum inhibitory concentration studies, disk diffusion assays, method validation and AOAC® RI Method Performance Tests.
