Strengthening the Cherney Team - Double Time!

Just over a month and a half ago, Debra Cherney shared the exciting announcement of Cherney's new COO Steve Kuchenberg.  Today - the Cherney team is happy to share that we again have added to our Leadership Team.  Please extend a warm welcome to Karrie Bierhals (Technical Services Manager) and Jeremy Syring (Client Services Manager)!  More information regarding these two individuals are below!

Karrie Bierhals joins the Cherney Team as Technical Services Manager following a 13 year career in the food and beverage industry as former Laboratory Director at Northland Laboratories.  She will be based at Cherney’s headquarters in Green Bay, Wisconsin. 

“We are excited to have created the role of Technical Services Manager and could not be happier to announce Karrie joining our team.  Her wealth of technical experience and passion for the customer will allow us to be an even stronger partner in solving problems with our customers,” said Steve Kuchenberg, Chief Operating Officer.  

As Technical Services Manager, she will be responsible for providing guidance and support to Cherney team members, as well as providing insight to client services and clients themselves. Possessing in-depth knowledge of pathogens in food and environmental samples, her expertise will also be used to develop content for Cherney College Training classes; serving as an instructor when needed.  Karrie brings extensive experience in lab services, mentoring others and client relationships to the organization. “I care deeply about the clients and will do whatever I can to help them solve their problems,” said Bierhals.

Jeremy Syring joins the Cherney Team as Client Services Manager following nearly a 20 year career with Dean Foods Company, most recently as Plant Manager.  He will also be based at Cherney’s headquarters in Green Bay, Wisconsin. 

“Jeremy brings a key perspective to Cherney that we value greatly.  He has walked in the customers footsteps and will only strengthen our ability to better understand and serve our customers,” said Steve Kuchenberg,  Chief Operating Officer.  

As Client Services Manager, he will be responsible for providing guidance and ongoing support to existing customers as well as finding and maintaining new ones.  In addition, Jeremy will promote awareness and understanding of all services the Cherney providesHaving worked his way from Laboratory Technician to Plant Manager at Dean Foods, he brings extensive experience in client services and quality assurance to the organization.  "As a former customer of Cherney's, I'm excited to be able to take on this role and extend our already superior customer service reputation to the next level," said Syring.
